September 23, 2011: Released today is a report from Grand Canyon Title Agency, Inc. listing the least expensive cities in Greater Phoenix to buy a single family home.
Greater Phoenix is defined as cities in Maricopa and Pinal Counties.
The report provides information to help answer the question whether one should continue to rent or pursue to own.
The Own or Rent Index uses a ratio of purchase price to annual rent for 25 cities. The lower the ratio, consider owning. The higher the ratio, consider renting.
The report only compares single family homes.
